These Wedding Must Haves are Truly TheBeezeKnees!!

We are Ecstatic to be hanging with the owner of TheBeezeKnees!! We cannot wait til we have a wedding in our midst to be able to order some of Brianna’s cute as can be wedding props and décor!

Building Bridges: Tell us a little bit about yourself, your family, and what you like to do for fun!

Brianna Lowry: My name is Brianna Lowry, owner of TheBeezeKnees Etsy Shop. I specialize in wedding décor.

I am almost an Army wife. My fiancé (Chris) is stationed in Ft. Bragg, NC, and we are planning our Upstate NY wedding from down here:)

Building Bridges:  Why did you decide to open your shop and why sell on Etsy.com ?

Brianna Lowry:  While Chris was in flight school in Alabama, I left my job in Buffalo, NY to move down south and be with him. Little did I know, finding a job in Alabama was more difficult than I ever imagined. I have always loved creating and DIY projects and heard about Etsy. I started making things and adding them to a new shop in 2012. People starting buying my items and I could make my car payment. I pictured Etsy as a way of making a little money while I couldn't find a job and never thought I would have so much fun doing it :)

Building Bridges:  Why did you choose the name of your business? Is there a special meaning behind it?

Brianna Lowry:  When I was younger my dad always called me 'Beeze' ... and while thinking of a shop name, my fiancé Chris came up with The Beeze Knees. Silly, I know... but meaningful and fun! My dad has always been self-employed and I always loved the idea of working for myself and making my own rules:)

I graduated from Niagara University with a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality and Tourism. I have worked for a number of hotels, resorts and wedding venues and always loved the event planning and wedding side of things.

Building Bridges: Do you remember your first product that sold, what was it?

Brianna Lowry: The first thing that I remember selling on Etsy was my floral lamp which is still in the shop today!

Building Bridges:  When did your shop officially open?

Brianna Lowry:  My shop was opened in 2011 but I started taking it serious in January 2012.

Building Bridges:  Do you ever offer any coupons?

Brianna Lowry:  I usually run shop promos and you will be able to get the coupon codes by following my facebook page  or Instagram (links below)

Building Bridges: Do you take custom orders?

Brianna Lowry:  As every wedding is different, I always accept custom orders and love when brides give me new ideas and item inspiration!

Building Bridges: Thanks for letting us get to know the amazing woman behind TheBeezeKnees! We hope you have a beautiful wedding and a blessed marriage! Look forward to seeing more of your adorable creations! Please check out and follow her on Facebook, and Instagram  (@brilowry16).
